High Tide Auto is a NAPA AutoCare full-service repair shop at 500 Wesley Street in Petersburg, opened in May 2025 by Wesley and Angela Davis (the same owners as the affiliated High Tide Parts / NAPA store). It is primarily an automotive and diesel shop — alignments, oil changes, engine swaps, transmission and A/C work, recall and warranty repairs, and heavy diesel mechanical work. What makes it relevant to boaters is twofold: the building's bay doors are sized (16 ft tall, ~14 ft wide) to roll in large boats on trailers, and the shop performs marine diesel diagnostics, including dockside in the harbor — letting the fleet get an engine diagnosed without shipping it to Juneau or hauling out. It won the Petersburg Chamber of Commerce 2025 Business of the Year award. Note: it is an auto/diesel shop, not a boatyard — it offers no haul-out or in-water lift.
