The nearest full-service, recreational-capable haul-out to Prince Rupert — a 35-ton travel lift and full repair yard in Port Edward.
Moore's Boatworks is a full-service boatyard in Port Edward, just south of Prince Rupert, and the nearest recreational-capable haul-out to the city. It runs a 35-ton marine travel lift with more than ten dry-dock bays. Its in-house mechanics and shipwrights handle fiberglass repair, gas and diesel engine repair and refits, engine controls and fuel systems, marine electrical, shaft/propeller/bearing work, hydraulics, plumbing, steering, and window repair, plus insurance claim work. An on-site store stocks marine products (Jabsco, Ancor, Sea-Dog, Martyr, Interlux, Blue Sea Systems, Perko). For over 20 years it has served both the commercial fishing fleet and recreational boaters; reserve a dry-dock bay ahead in peak season.

Cruising info goes stale fast — fees change, fuel docks close, hours shift. WalkTheDock stays accurate because boaters who’ve actually been here keep it current. Spot something out of date? Suggest a correction; once a moderator approves it the change goes live and you’re credited below.
