First Place Propeller is a propeller and running-gear specialist established in 1995 and run by Dean Bozak, working out of the Boat Haven area on Washington Street. The shop focuses on propeller repair, tuning and shaft or coupling work for the vessels hauled in the Port Townsend yards. It operates within the Shipwrights Co-op umbrella and shares its directory contact line. It is a focused running-gear trade rather than a full yard.
