The Port of Poulsbo tidal grid, built in 1975, lets boaters dry out against the grid on a falling tide for between-tides work at a fraction of commercial haul-out cost. It is used for zinc, propeller, rudder, and thru-hull inspection and replacement plus hull survey and inspection. Note the Port prohibits bottom scraping, scrubbing, washing, and paint removal or application on the grid; it is an inspection and repair platform, not a bottom-paint yard. Vessels up to 65 feet and 50 tons; tenants pay 25 dollars and non-tenants 50 dollars per tide cycle by reservation.
