Patrick Mahon is a Port Townsend marine surveyor and consultant with more than forty years in the marine trades as a shipwright, surveyor, and educator, having started building wooden boats in England in 1974. He performs condition, pre-purchase, and valuation surveys and consults on restoration and repair, with particular depth in traditional and modern wooden-boat construction. He serves the Puget Sound region — Seattle, Tacoma, Bellingham, and the San Juan Islands — as well as clients nationally, working as a mobile surveyor based out of Port Townsend.
